Television Set

Written by: Pluff of Sonoma

This little TV is incredibly simple to build, and yet I think it’s the cutest of all the TV’s I have seen around Britania. You only need 2 tiles and a short supply list:
Items needed for this project are:

  • 22 Benches
  • Flower Girl Painting
  • 2 Empty Spell Books
  • 2 or more TV Toppers

Pluff chose a candle and book (the TV Guide) to top her television set.

Time to get started!

I chose to dye my benches a darker orangey brown to match the picture frame, and allow the screen to blend into the TV, but you can dye your benches any color you like, or use undyed ones.1) The TV faces east and only takes up 2 tiles. First lock down a stack of 3 benches in the northernmost of tile of your TV.

2) Lock down a spell book on top of the bench pile.

3) Stack another bench on top and lock it.

4) Repeat steps 2 and 3, adding a spell book and then another bench, locking both down. Now your TV has knobs!

5) Stack and lock 5 more benches down in this pile. Then add a TV topper. I am going to put my tall candle here. You may need to raise your item 2 or 3 times with the dec tool to make it appear to sit on top of the TV.6) In the second tile, lock down a stack of 12 benches.

7) Place your second TV topper on the stack and lock it. You may need to raise it two or three times with the dec tool.

8) Lock down your painting on the front of the TV. To make it pop into the right position, you need to target it correctly.

And that’s it! Easy as pie and cute as a…bug?
