Corner Shelf

I wish I could take credit for the originality of this design being my own. I really do not who came up with originally, but I saw it for the first time at the Chesepeake “Red Wolf Inn” in the town of Gyldenfeld. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to appear on Castles, so… here it is.
Items Needed:

  • 6 Clock Frames
  • 2 Barrel Lids
  • Book (optional decor)
  • Other decor for other shelf (not shown)
The first step is to stack the clockframes on one tile. Lock them down.

The next step is to turn the 2nd, 4th, and 6th placed clock frame to face south. (every other one in the stack). You should have something like what is shown here to the right:

Now is the time to adjust your clockframes so they appear even to one another. Usually, the best practice is to start with the panel on the left and raise the bottom frame up to be even with the right side.

It is truly a preference at this point as to how you raise and lower each panel. When you finish, it should look close to what is shown to the right:

The next step is to place your barrel lids.

Place the first lid down so it is “between” the panels you just created and raise it 3 times. Place the book and raise it 4 times. It is now laying on the bottom shelf.

Our next step is to add the top shelf. Place the lid and raise it. 9 placements using the deco tool.

Your final decor piece will now be added and raised to appear resting on the top shelf.

I topped my corner shelf off by using Na’Kasha’s tutorial for the Fancy Rose Vase.
