House Customization F.A.Q.s

Q. My teleportation tiles within my house stopped working and I can’t access my other floors. How do I fix this?

A. While this is a relatively rare issue that has happened a few times after patches, it doesn’t happen often now. That being said, in many cases, just going into the house customization menu and changing foundations will fix the issue.

Q. Can I change my foundation in a grandfathered home to fix teleportation tile issues?

A. Yes.

Q. Can I resize my grandfathered house and keep grandfathered status?

A. No. Changing the size of any grandfathered house plot will break grandfathered status completely.

Q. Do you have a list of items that would prevent a house from being customized if they weren’t axed?

A. Yes, but it is a work in progress which may have items added to it as items are added in game. List can be found here.

Hi Bryan! Great question. Often times you have to go floor by floor and make sure that there aren’t any orange tiles. If you click on the wall structure you can remove walls to see if there are any orange parts on the floor. If there are it’s generally because there isn’t any support for the floor.

If that’s the case, figure out what you need to add for support and work from there! if you need further help feel free to ICQ me at 199889122

I turned my tower into a customizable home…although i lost a lot of stuff in the process ie. Gold and ore mostly as well as a few spike posts..no biggie there..i think ..anyway when it converted the trash barrel was intact but in the wrong place. using an axe i tore it down..now it won’t let me place another… i get a message saying there is already one in place..any trick to fixing this ?
